Step 01: What To Expect?
This is a 6-step onboarding funnel, please make sure to go through all of them.
Every single sentence on it has been written for a purpose, please take your time to read this carefully.
This first step won't take you more than 10 minutes, I promise ; ) Thank you!If you do have any questions, email Ziad here: [email protected]
Welcome to the onboarding process, I'm gonna very briefly just touch on what you can expect over the next 60 minutes, 7 days, 30 days, 6 months, 12 months, and 2 years… it depends on how long you end up being with us, most of our clients are with us 1 year+ and hopefully, you have the same trajectory. So if you have ever worked with an agency before this will be vastly different from what you used to see, 2 to 3 weeks of back and forth, getting assets, getting passwords... it's been a nightmare, and you're gonna find out very shortly in our company we like to get our clients results preferably sooner than later so let's get straight into it.
It's An Honor To Have You A Part Of The Client Roster
First I just want to say it's an absolute honor to have you a part of the clients' roster, I worked with some incredible clients, during our time, and in the same way, our clients are proud to have the opportunity to work with us because they know we have a very elusive brand, at least in the industry! working with us is almost like the right passage, and we have the same thing with clients!I just wanna say on behalf of myself and the rest of the team it's absolutely an honor to have you a part of the client roster.
We're Obsessed With Clients' Results & Making This As Hands-Off And Streamline As Possible
We're a bunch of nerds obsessed with clients' results & making this as hands-off and streamlined as possible. And this is what really this onboarding is.
Let's Talk About Onboarding
It's Birth: I devised this onboarding process one year ago because I felt so bad for the clients who would have to spend 2-3 weeks going back and forth on passwords, assets, etc. only for the agency to use it as an excuse that the first month is for ‘setup’.Updated: We decided to give it a facelift this year. The Process: This onboarding will take 30 minutes or so including this step but once it’s done, it’s done. This means that we'll start getting you results within 5 days rather than 21-30 days like most agencies.
During The Success Session, We'll Set Up Your Slack,
CRM Access, And The Weekly Check-in Calls
This is a 6-steps process; by the end, we'll have everything we need.At the end of this process, you are going to book a success session with me, during that success session we'll walk you through EVERYTHING, we will set up your Slack channel, we'll get access to your CRM, we'll book the weekly calls, and we'll set a timeframe for the next 4 weeks.
What You Can Expect From Us
Communication: All communication is done inside Slack exclusively. If you message us anywhere else, we will not respond even if we see the message. This is so we can get you the quickest possible response time.Reporting: Every day except Sunday you can expect a maximum 6-12 hour response time. Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday we send you a 2-3 line written just where we update you about what has been going on the past 2 days, and we also have weekly calls. We'll ask for your feedback at the end of the 3rd, 6th, 12th, and 24th weeks.*Tip: Install Slack on your phone to get updates faster! Use one of the links below to download it:
iOS - Android - Mac - Windows
What We Expect From You
Meetings: Please allow for a 24-hour notice if you need to cancel a check-in call or change time, barring emergencies obviously.Respectful: I don’t need to patronize you, but speak to my team with respect. I don't have a single contractor on my team. My entire team is full-time, extremely well-paid, and extremely talented. They’re the best and are used to being treated by our other clients as such.To Keep It Simple: Imagine what your dream client is in your business, just be that. That’s always been my number one rule when dealing with other service providers.
A Successful Partnership
Ask Questions: We welcome any and all questions. Don’t be afraid to ask us questions outside of the scope of marketing on our check-in calls either.Unplug Emotion: In the exact same way a financial advisor does best when he has the trust of his clients, we work the same!Never Touch What’s Working: The only time a client ever leaves us is when they think they can bring it in-house. Trust me I understand the thinking but it always results in the same thing… the client coming back to us in 3 months because they realize it’s not as simple as it looks. We get paid generously because we’re the best at what we do. Trust me, if it was that simple everyone could command the fees we do.If you ever think about bringing it in-house, do it parallel to still working with us, and then ONLY once your in-house team produces better results than us (which won’t happen), then make the full switch.
We Look Forward To A Successful Partnership!
This is step one and I promise all the other steps won't be as long as this one, it's just an introduction I want to do to outline a couple of things. So, the next few steps are just the Client Intake Form, the contract that should be already in your inbox, the FB access, booking your success session, and ending with some final words.Although the rest of the process should only take you around 20 minutes and as I said once it's done, it's done. And we can start getting you results within 5 days. So, I hope you enjoy the rest of the onboarding process!

Step 02: Client Intake Form
Now, I want you to go through the Client Intake Form to let us know more about your business and how it operates...We wanna know what softwares are you using, what's your target audience, what's your qualification process, and a few other things... so we can tailor & optimize our service delivery for your business needs. You can start by answering the questions below, it won't take you more than 10 minutes.
After filling out this Client Intake Form, you can move on to the third step of this onboarding...

Step 03: Contract & Invoice Payment
So, for the next step of this onboarding process, you should've already paid the invoice on our growth session together. If for whatever reason you haven't yet, please make sure to process it now.In regards to the contract, shortly after sending us your company details, we made the official contract and I sent it to you over Dropbox Sign, and you've probably signed it at this point, or potentially it should be in your inbox right now.If it's not in your inbox, in less than 24-48 hours, it will be there before our success session.

Step 04: Access To Your FB Business Manager
In this step, we'll get access to your FB business manager, you'll have full control over everything, we'll be only a partner of your business manager, and we won't have any control over the financial side of the account.
We try to make this as easy as possible for our partners, just follow the steps below, won't take more than 3 minutes, I promise ; )
P.S. Please make sure you have a payment method on your business manager, and it should be linked to your ad account. To check it out, go here → select your business manager → click on "Payment methods" at the left menu → Add a business payment method → Select an ad account as the picture below → Then click on "Add payment method" and add one from your Business manager.

Step 05: Book In Your Success Session
So the next step is the success session. Now below, you will be able to find a calendar to book your success session with me.If you need anyone else present from your team, there's a functionality that you can just add any additional guest you want.Just make sure to join using your laptop because we'll set up your Slack channel and some integrations regarding your CRM.As I said, the Google Meet link will be in the confirmation email. See you there!

Step 06: Just Some Final Words
So, that pretty much wraps up our onboarding. As I said at the first step of this onboarding, it might come across a little tidiness, this entire thing takes 30 minutes but once it's done, it's done! and that means that we will get you results sooner rather than later.
On behalf of myself and the rest of the team here at Growth Gents, we look forward to our success session.
Thanks for your time, and I hope this went as smoothly as butter on warm toast ; )

Step 04: Calendar Integration
In this step, I'll walk you through the exact process, step by step on how to link the booking software with your/your closers' calendar(s).
Step 01: Booking Software
The best booking software we have found is Calendly. By using it, we can link one or multiple calendars, have confirmation emails, have SMS & email reminders, and we can even integrate with any CRM.
Go here and buy a subscription. If you're the only one who's closing deals, the best plan you can choose is the "Professional" plan. If you have multiple closers in your team, choose the "Teams" plan which can automatically assign the available closer at that chosen time for that appointment. You don't have to check what closer is available at each specific time.
Step 02: Invite Team Members
If you have multiple closers within your company, click here and then add them there. Set their Role as "User".
Step 03: Integrations
Now it's time for your calendar(s) integration. Please go here and then follow this guide to connect your calendar(s) with Calendly to make sure you/your team is free at the time when we'll book the appointments for you.
After the calendar, you should integrate Calendly with your Zoom account, go here and follow the steps.
Step 04: Event Set Up + Automations
The final step in this guide is to give us access so we can set up the events & automation needed for your appointments.
Go here, scroll down and click on "Regenerate Key" as you see in the picture below.

You'll receive a verification code on your email address, type it to confirm, and then copy the newly generated code, you'll share it with us in the form.
Now, if you signed up to Calendly using your Google account, please go here and set a login email and a password. Then, go here and fill out the form with your company name, Calendly email login, Calendly password you used to sign up, and the generated key.
If you signed up to Calendly using your own email, please go here and fill out the form with your company name, Calendly email login, Calendly password you used to sign up, and the generated key.
By doing this, you'll give us access to your Calendly account so we can take care of the rest and your job is pretty much done here!
